Elips by ese is a Calgary-based beauty brand with a product line that demanded a seamless, professional online retail experience. ProMentors handled the end-to-end build of their Wix storefront, including a custom shipping integration with eShipper to manage real-time rates and fulfillment across Canada.
As the brand's needs evolved, we transitioned the shipping infrastructure to ClickShip — a more scalable solution available through the Wix App Market — ensuring the store stayed lean, cost-efficient, and operationally smooth. The final storefront reflects the brand's aesthetic sensibility while being fully optimized for conversion and logistics.
The Challenge
Elips is a growing beauty brand with real shipping complexity — multiple product weights, Canada-wide delivery, and the need for accurate real-time shipping rates at checkout. The initial solution was a direct integration with eShipper, built custom. While functional, it introduced maintenance overhead and dependency on a third-party API that required ongoing attention as the business scaled. The client needed shipping to just work, reliably, without becoming a technical liability.
The Solution
ProMentors first built and stabilized the eShipper integration to get the store live and operational. As the platform matured, we identified ClickShip — available natively through the Wix App Market — as a more scalable, lower-maintenance solution that offered the same carrier access with better reliability and a cleaner merchant experience. We transitioned the shipping infrastructure to ClickShip, reducing technical debt while improving the checkout experience for customers. The storefront now runs lean with no custom shipping code to maintain.
